Only suggestion I could make to management is to have a separate check out line. it’s the nature of the business and We just go with the flow. There are many steps to this process especially if people checking in want upgrades, change their room type etc etc. I’ve read so many complaints about the long lines. We were in no hurry and our show didn’t start until 7pm. If he checks in and we have no special request I find a seat,wait and people watch. My husband went to the lobby bar for a beer while I stayed in line. Another lady came to the line of people and asked if we wanted to leave our bags with the bellman and check in later since the lines were long but we opted to stay in line. Front desk lady was very nice and cheerful. I’m not one to let things like this bother me considering the circumstances. So bright and cheerful and huge! When we arrived at check in the line was quite long but it really didn’t bother us.
We were pleasantly surprised how nice it is. We normally stay at Tropicana but decided to give this new reopening a try since we were attending a show at Hard Rock. Just returned from the new and improved Ocean resort today.
